The International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) is a center in the University of Washington?s Department of Global Health. I-TECH has projects in more than 20 countries, and its worldwide staff work with local ministries of health, universities, non-governmental organizations, medical facilities, and other partners to support efficient, well-ordered health care systems that provide high quality care to all citizens.
Funded by PEPFAR under the cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Côte d?Ivoire Quality Improvement Solutions for Sustained Epidemic Control Project (QISSEC), operates in 60 healthcare facilities nation-wide.
I-TECH is looking for a QI Coach consultant to expand the current QI Coach team to better support the sites for quality improvement and contribute to the rationalization transition effective September 30, 2022 (COP 22).

Key Responsibilities
? Build quality management capacity and a QI culture based on facility needs.
? Identify site level QI champions and civil society members to be included in facility-based QI teams.
? Review the facility level quality management plan based on findings and indicators that will be tracked (e.g., viral load coverage, TLD transition, TPT initiation, PrEP, retention strategies).
? Develop a coaching plan per each facility.
? Coach facility staff on:
o the use of analysis of performance data to identify and develop intervention strategies towards improving outcomes.
o the completion of a demonstration QI process cycle and present outcomes to all stakeholders to build momentum, enhanced buy-in and QI team and staff confidence.
o monitoring the implementation progress, intermittently evaluating and making readjustments as necessary, providing technical assistance to staff on the documentation of progress to support sustainability and replication.
? The QI Coach consultant will be involved in conducting a data quality assessment (DQA) and other activities relevant to COP 22 transition.
? Maintain regular communication with the QISSEC Project Director.

Profil du poste

Requirements
? Medical Doctor Diploma or Master?s degree in Public Health, Social or Behavioral Sciences
? Five years of relevant work experience in QI, QI coaching, or data analysis for decision making
? Knowledge, skills abilities including:
o Experience with differentiating best methods, data collection, and analysis
o Strong computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and database programs
o Familiarity with one or more of the following fields is required: training/human resource development; HIV/AIDS care and support services
o REDCap or other software and workflow methodology for designing databases
? Highly motivated individual who works well independently
? Good writing and presentation skills in French.

Preferred Qualifications
? Experience working in team settings
? Strong initiative and a commitment to building personal and organizational capacity
? Proficiency in English language
? Ability to travel nationally
